QTI-Bee-PoC Workshop Series for QTIBIPoC (in English)
2/2: Bee History: Zine workshop
As it gets colder outside, the bees disappear from our everyday lives until next spring. But even when they are inactive, there is so much to learn from and about them!
Join us for a cosy evening of crafting, where we learn about the history of bees and reflect on what we have in common with them. With these impulses, we will create zines using beekeeper’s journals and crafting materials.

Connecting with our plant and insect world can be a very empowering experience - however, as racialised people who are also queer, inter and/or trans, spaces in nature and related knowledge are not always (easily) accessible to us. This workshop series aims to spark an interest in the bees around us, and collectively gather and make visible to us the knowledge we already have.
For: QTIBIPOC – Black, Indigenous and People of Colour who are also Trans, Inter and/or Queer
Language: spoken English.
Participants: There are up to 8 spaces available.
Registration: info@gladt.de
The space including toilets are wheelchair accessible.
Please come tested, otherwise we will also have COVID tests available on site. Please also come with a mask, and we will check in together what our needs are/what we are comfortable with in regards to this on the day.
There will be fidget toys and colouring books available. Each workshop includes a 15min break, and you are always welcome to take longer breaks if needed.
You can attend just one individual workshop or both. It is not necessary to have gone to the first workshop to attend the second.
